The King
As I slept, I dreamed that my son came up to me while I was sitting in my chair. He asked me, “Dad am I a Prince?” I replied to him “of course you are, you’re my Prince.” My son ran off to play and disappeared out of my sight. He came back and asked me to bend down out of my chair and when I did, he gave me a big hug and said, “Dad if I am a Prince, then that makes you a King!” After this I awoke and just knew that I had to put this on paper. I used a side picture of myself, and a few other elements and drew the King logo you see before you.
The Queen
After the King was created, I was asked and inspired to make him a companion. When I designed the Queen, I wanted to give her something truly unique but also subtle. When you look at her hair, it's supposed to stand out; so big and natural but I gave it something noticeable. When you see it, it will never be unseen. Look at it very closely and now think of Africa. Do you see it? The organic flow of her hair design will cultivate the beauty of any Queen.
